Hello Hollywood!
It has been an amazing time since my arrival in Hollywood on May 20th. My days have been action-packed, so I want to apologize for missing my regular Wednesday Blog entry.
I left Toronto on the 18th to head back to my home in Calgary, AB so I could spend some quality time with family and friends. It was a great feeling to be home even if the time there was short. The next day I flew to LA from Calgary.
As I was leaving LAX I met a really cool person named, Garrett who works for Janice Dickinson. My manager and I were invited to the studios to watch them film. We will catch up with them sometime next week.
Wednesday, was a full day training session in Burbank with my coach, Sharon Moist. After our work was completed we stopped by the Disney Studios to take some pictures. I absolutely loved the metal fence posts they had around all of the buildings because each fence had both large and small Disney Mickey Mouse ears on them. I have always loved "Disney." Also, on the front of one of the buildings they had these huge stone figures for all the characters from "Sleeping Beauty." Sleeping Beauty is one of my all time favourites.
Thursday, was another fun and exciting day full of activities with Jeff and Linda.
Friday, we connected with Dina who is a journalist from Croatia. We filmed a brief documentary in several locations throughout Hollywood that included the famous "Hollywood Walk of Fame." The documentary will air on National Television in Croatia. I will keep you posted with the details.
If you get the chance to come to Hollywood you have to go to this awesome little mall called "Fred Segal." It is located on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Their hot chocolate and goodies are scrumptuous. I am totally hooked because we went there for breakfast every morning. The shopping was great too! You have to stop and see Walter and Monica in the clothing store because they are a blast.
Today, it is Saturday and I don't know where the time has gone. We are heading down to San Diego for a few days of fun and relaxation. Noni and Granddad took us to a fabulous Mexican Restaurant for lunch, and of course, SHOPPING at the Farmers Market along the water.
TTYS!
