Its the next day and our travels began early on the adventure highway, but first, we have to make a coffee run for the adults joining me. For me, a Chai Latte. Everything is so big in the states, even bigger than the Calgary Cowboy size. My Chai went down very smoothly and quickly; very yummy too!!! 
Our next stops were Idaho and Utah. I love travelling because the scenery is so different. Sometimes, on one side of the road it would be like a desert, and on the other side, a green carpet. I probably wouldn have believed it unless I saw it for myself; pretty cool.
It was a great day because it was sunny, warm, we were cruising at a safe speed of course, and had the great tunes of Madonna blaring on the stereo. I felt like I was in a different world. Even though I was away from home, I felt like I was there because the people along the way have been just like home. They are kind, helpful, and just all around great people.
We made several stops to do a bit of sight-seeing, and shopping of course (one of my favourite things to do). I love going to the little boutiques where you can find all sorts of great deals, one of a kind things, really cool clothing and funky knick-knacks.
It was very late when we arrived at our evening stop, safe and sound. We checke into our hotel that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere; very cute but it could also be a bit freaky if you really thought about it. Sort of like those scary movies you see and the strange things start to happen. No need to worry, all was safe.
When you looked around you, there was the highway and then plunked in the center was this little area that had restaurants, a few hotels, and a gas station. A very mini-city, but if you blinked it was gone.
Reminder, the farther you drive South, the hotter it gets so, make sure you drink lots of water. Unfortunately, drinking all the oceans of water requires more pit stops, if you know what I mean. 
Tomorrow, I am looking forward to our trip to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. So nighty, night, until tomorrow.
