Have  you ever stayed at a Bed & Breakfast?  I haven't until recently.  Hotels like the Marriott have always been my thing until I stayed in a B & B.  I didn't realize how awesome they were.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves to feel that they are really in a home away from home.  While I was here in Calgary during Stampede and shortly after, I had the opportunity of staying in two awesome ones.  They were "Hughe's House Bed & Breakfast"  www.hugheshouse.ca.  Here you get to stay in a large beautiful Victorian Home.  Kelly is the owner with his two dogs "Ghostie and Beastie."  They are a lot of fun to be around.  I was treated like family from the moment I stayed there until I left.  The atmosphere is very relaxing which is really important when you have a busy schedule traveling.  The second place that I stayed at was at "Tuxedo House" www.bbcanada.com/1542.html.  Glen is the owner of this B & B with his two loving gentle dogs called "Missy and Bob".

During my stays I have met some really great people that I know I will keep in touch with.  So, if you ever have a chance to visit our great City of Calgary, I would highly recommend these two places.  I can personally guarantee that your stay with them will be like you are royalty.
